checking on cpan for Speech::Recognizer::ViaVoice i found a perl interface for using ibm's viavoice. sadly, the links provided for the viavoice binary don't work and also some other sites tell, ibm closed development.

the email adresses from the package maintaner do not work, so i was thinking everything was shut down.
there are of course other speech recognition systems, but i was wondering if anyone around here is still using these packages...

btw: found some stuff here, but i didn't test it yet...
