1st: Happy New Year to all!
I wrote the following regexp: 
$params{city}    =~ /^[\w-'\.\*]*$/ and do_stuff() ;

[download]
I get this warning (I'm under use warning ;) in my error_log:
/^[\w-'\.\*]*$/: false [] range "\w-" in regexp at.... I don't understand what the pb is, could somebody light this up ?
