'My First Perl Book' takes me back to those heady days of summer, seven years old banging away at the keyboard typing in BASIC on my Commodore 64, making the sprites move around the screen, peeking and poking the memory...reading my Programming for Kids book. MAD magazine came out with an issue that had code for the Commodore and the TRS-80 and others to make Alfred E. Neuman's face show up on your screen...*sigh* what good times.
