Every time I come to want to comment on a top level post (as opposed to a reply) I scoot down to the bottom of the page looking for the "comment on this link" link.

It is only after doing this that I come up to the top and see that it is right there at the top of the table. I think what is happening is that my brain ignores the link assuming that it is just a title, or that I read it as "comments on" which would make it a title.

The links to use for commenting on comments are beutifully clear. Could we have a seperate link floating just after the text of the post which is easier to spot? I know I will get used to it in the end but it will still catch others out. It would also be nice to have a link at the bottom of the page, but that could be confusing.
