Hello Monks , I have this problem , my compnay is using an older version of perl which doesn't support lots of perl module , I have to write scripts that interact with the databas using sql , however I can't use MySql module. so I have to come up with a way to tell the sql prompt command line what I want ,, I have tried to use the system() , qx, qq but no luck. Does anyone knows a way to go over this.
thanks
sample of trying:
my $updStr="select ARKET_CODE from envent where CODE='${vCode}';";
system (qq( select ARKET_CODE from envent where CODE='${vCode}';));
$command = qx[ select ARKET_CODE from envent where CODE='${vCode}'];
so how can I print to the sql command using perl ,, thanks all
