I am working with an existing script. I would just like to change a few things... for one, its does not use a thumbnail at all, it just loads the entire image and scales it to 50x50 with html. Thats unproductive in my opinion. I'm going to edit the script myself so that if a user uploads an image, its automaticly converted to a thumbnail. I don't have shell access at all to my freebsd 4.7 server, so I can only use binaries. That NetPBM looks good. Do you think the binary for fbsd 4.2 will work on my server? I searched it up on cpan though, and didn't find anything.. where could I get some docs for perl.
