I have a LWP script that works just find under cygwin.
Now I need to make it work under Solaris 8.
I have installed Perl 5.8 on my Sun system. (before my sysadmin changed the password ;))
I have installed the follow perl modules:
- Crypt-SSLeay-0.49
- HTML-Parser-3.27
- HTML-Tagset-3.03
- URI-1.23
- libwww-perl-5.69
I have installed these Perl modules like so:
perl Makefile.PL PREFIX=/home/LameNerd
Praise be to to abbot
cranz.
When I run my script I get this ...
bash-2.03$ ./myLittleScript -F somedumbthing
Protocol scheme 'https' is not supported./myLittleScript: Failure: do_
+logon failed
And I am pretty sure I have OpenSSL installed.
My sys admin doesn't like me so maybe I don't have OpenSSL
installed. How could I tell?
