Errr - you need the Sybase libraries (or FreeTDS, if it builds under Windows).

If you have a Sybase installation (any platform) the Sybase client software (including appropriate DLLs) is included.

That said, you can get Sybase ASE 12.5 as a free download, including all libraries for either NT or linux from http://www.sybase.com/ase_125devel The NT version should work on Win2K (although I've never tried it), and should include all the libraries that are needed to build the package.
