There was a Pythonmonks once, back when the Perlmonks server was running at blockstackers. It was built on the Everything engine and was quite similar in feel to this site. I guess it was dropped when Pair Networks began to host us.

I don't think it was ever officially opened to the public. As far as I know, the only useful thing to come out of it was the green theme that is now available on here on Perlmonks.
