Hi monks,
Given a string ABC"123"XYZ, I want to split it into AAA, "123", XYZ. So here snippet go: 
my $str = "ABC\"123\"XYZ";
my @p = split /(?<!\")(?=\".*\")|(?<=\".*\")(?!\")/, $str;
foreach my $part (@p) {
   print "part = ($part)\n";
}
