Hi,
I'm trying to install DBD-Mysql and whenever I type
make
after
perl Makefile.PL
, I get the following error message:
gcc -c -I/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/auto/DBI -I'/usr/include/mysql' -D_REENTRANT -D_GNU_SOURCE -fno-strict-aliasing -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 -I/usr/include/gdbm -O2 -march=i386 -mcpu=i686 -DVERSION=\"2.1026\" -DXS_VERSION=\"2.1026\" -fpic "-I/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/CORE" dbdimp.c
/bin/sh: line 1: gcc: command not found
make: ***
dbdimp.o
Error 127
I haven't been able to found any documentation that addresses this error. Any ideas on what's going on? Or isn't there an RPM somewhere for DBD-Mysql?
Thanks,
Ralph.
