greetings. i've used Parse::RecDescent to construct an assembler. since it takes a ferociously long time to run, i'd like advice & help on creating a (cygwin) executable. i have made various attempts at using perlcc, fighting with the multiple command line syntaxes, and i cannot coax any source code into appearing: i either get ignored filenames (typically wrong parameter order) or complaints as from this attempt:
perlcc My_grammar.pl -O -C Unknown option: C /usr/bin/perlcc: My_grammar.pl did not compile, which can't happen: Prescan Saving methods Can't call method "save" on unblessed reference at /usr/lib/perl5/5.6 +.1/cygwin-multi/B/C.pm line 582. CHECK failed--call queue aborted.
i'd appreciate any help or advice. thanks! hwn
