Try to look at existing Perl Mongers groups or use the same color as our monastery (if brothers and sisters will not be opposite ;-)) )

PM is themable. I'm looking at a black background with silver text and underlined aqua links (yet visited links are some sort of yellow and they turn red if I hover over them).

I don't think there is a "Perl colour". Or a "Perl Monks colour" for that matter.
