Why do you use references to anonymous hashes instead of a straight hash? All it does it complicate the syntax for no benefit.
References have become second nature and thus for me it dosn't create complications. As an added benefit it helps when passed in subs.
but your output only shows one pair?
Yes, my code has only extracted pairs. Not the rows as I have written
