Anyway I can put the the data matching in a variable?? 
$data =~ /(?:match|matching\.com|match\.company)/gi)

I tried this and it didnt work: 
my $first = 'match';
my $second = 'matching\.com';
my $third = 'match\.company';

$data =~ /(?:$first|$second|$third)/gi)
