I have been having a lot of trouble trying to port some VB code to Perl and was hoping that theMonks could shed some light on this for me. Here is a snippet of the VB code:
[snip]
strItemGUID = "{0420060000000000C000000000000046}"
ptag_EMAIL_ADDRESS = "0x8083"
[snip]
myAddress = colFields(strItemGUID & ptag_EMAIL_ADDRESS)
I have tried:
myAddress = colFields(strItemGUID & ptag_EMAIL_ADDRESS);
myAddress = colFields(strItemGUID && ptag_EMAIL_ADDRESS);
myAddress = colFields('{0420060000000000C000000000000046}0x8083');
myAddress = colFields('0420060000000000C0000000000000460x8083');
myAddress = colFields(0420060000000000C0000000000000460x8083);
None of which worked. I have also been having trouble representing a value like: (&H3A16001E) in perl. Any help or leads in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.
