Fellow monks,
I understand that with a Perl*Handler I can intervene at any stage of Apache's processing of my request.
But, not being very familiar with the Apache's callback hooks mechanism, and not being that much familiar with Perl*Handlers, I don't know how to do the simple following thing: writing my own log with a PerlHanlder instead of letting Apache do it. (Or injecting aditionnal info in the logs that Apache generates, like the value of an environement variable.)
If somebody could point me some links to a good explanation of this aspect of mod_perl, I'd be very glad. (the mod_perl documentation at perl.apache.org isn't helping, or maybe it's just me. )
