Hi, I want to use Sessions.pm for maitaning state information. I have 3 stage scenario in my web site. stage 1 the user fills a query form and makes some selection stage 2 the cgi script gives a list of items mathching the user criteria.here I want to store the selection made by user in stage 1 for use by script in stage 3 stage 3 when the user clicks on one of the listed items the 2nd script displays the detailed information about the selected item.here I need the selections made by user in stage 1. with sessions I can easily do that.my problem is when do I invalidate the session. If I do it after completing stage 3 then when the user presses the back button to go from stage 3 to stage 2 and comes back again to stage 3 I will loose the session data. If I dont invalidate the session then the DB file which stores the session information will be continuing to grow . the size may not be a problem for quite a while. so any suggestions on what might be the best strategy to invalidate the session thanx phani
