Good day monks has anyone come across a problem like this when trying to install mod GD:
perl Makefile.PL NOTICE: This module requires libgd 2.0.12 or higher. it will NOT work with earlier versions. See www.cpan.org for versions of GD that are compatible with earlier versions of libgd. Type perl Makefile.PL -h for command-line option summary Where is libgd installed? [/usr/lib] Please choose the features that match how libgd was built: Build JPEG support? [y] Build FreeType support? [y] n Build XPM support? [y] If you experience compile problems, please check the @INC, @LIBPATH an +d @LIBS arrays defined in Makefile.PL and manually adjust, if necessary. WARNING: CAPI is not a known parameter. Checking if your kit is complete... Looks good Warning: prerequisite Math::Trig 1 not found. **ERROR** Writing Makefile for GDtall the GD mod on a Solaris box:
If you open the Makfile.PL the @INC looks like this:
my @INC = qw(-I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/include/gd); my @LIBPATH = qw(-L/usr/lib/X11 -L/usr/X11R6/lib -L/usr/X11/lib -L/usr +/local/lib); my @LIBS = qw(-lgd -lpng -lz);
perl -V outputs this and am not sure if I should adjust the Mafile.PL:
Characteristics of this binary (from libperl): Compile-time options: USE_LARGE_FILES Built under solaris Compiled at Jul 11 2003 13:39:21 @INC: /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.0/sun4-solaris /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.0 /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/sun4-solaris /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0 /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl
Please let me know if any of you know how to correct this issue as the prereq of Math::Trig is installed.
[root@steve GD-2.07] 184# perl -MMath::Trig -e '{print "Hello\n";}' Hello
I am lost on this one....
