I guess the official Dutch word is "frisdrank". This can be taken apart as:
fris
Which translates to "fresh" , "refreshing" or "cool" depending on context.

drank
Which translates to "beverage".

However, it is commonly just referred to as "fris", as in: 

Q: What would you like to drink?
A: Ah... something "fris" please.
