I have to agree on two different points made here:

  1. It was a bad poem. I voted -- for that reason, and that reason alone. (I usually ++ any poetry that gets posted.)
  2. Poetry is about artistic expression, plain and simple. I am strongly opposed to any attempts to censor it based on content or style. I voted to keep the poem.

The only reason I believe that the node should be deleted is if it's NOT poetry. As bad as it is, it is still a poem and belongs here. Just because critics pan a film doesn't mean that the studio destroys the master copy.
