I am nearly fed up with my virtual hosting services at IPOWERWEB! They tell me I have to make a user account, a database name, and a password. Ok so that wasn't a big deal. Then they show me the "my $dbh=" code I have to use in my perl/cgi script to access the database. I use it to fill the datatables with my scripts I have used before for a windows server, and yes I did change some things that only were meant for windows, and I also tried various things with what I had copied directly from the Deitel book covering unix/linux systems using SQL. After about 20 attempts at diffrent methods I just had to give up after getting "Internal Server Error" code 500. Can some one help me solve this issue by either giving me a short sample that works, or tell me how much you might charge to make it work for me or even to verify/debug my script?
