The patch needs to be actually applied by a god before it will take affect, and hasnt been yet.
Personally, this pm_sig/div stuff surprised me too, I also have an empty sig, so I dont see why the reply box should throw (weird, in my opinion) div tags at me. Possibly a nice idea, whatever it was for, but not well thought out (IMHO).
(Yeah, maybe Im a typical user, nothing against useful changes, but also scant/no knowledge of HTML, and no wish to learn it beyond simple stuff.. And the first thing I thought was 'WTF is that', and then 'can I delete/write between/ignore it')
