The first is that more gods should help, or the ones we have could take some interest.

I interpreted that as "there should be more gods, because then the work would be spread over more people", not as "the gods we have should help more"

Also, i though that voteing and commenting on patches was for pmdevils only, and while voting might not be that great, it could give gods an idea as to which patches the pmdevils thought were best/most urgent.

English is a crappy language that is open to many different interpretations. :)
