I don't really feel the need to go about fixing all of the offending code, but I would like to somehow give myself a little more protection before something gives me a good bite, especially since some people here are well known for changing business critical code without telling anybody and then it takes a day to figure out who did it.
I think I recall reading about a perl module that could do something like this and I will certainly go look for it right now, but I was wondering what other options I may have to protect myself.
