Yes, it's true. But hey I'm spoiled. Spoiled by the intelligent, witty answers and discussion concering all things Perl. But as a web designer/programmer, I feel a bit out of it with what seems to be an abundance of system admin chatter, questions, and answers.
I know, I know, the web stuff is not that exciting, however I, pesonally, will never be a system's guy. But I feel that I can develop much better web apps with the counsel of the Monks.
I feel a little leary about posting web dev questions in the company of the more rarified air of the sys admins lurking here, but I know, from experience, that the PM advice would be invaluable.
Get to the point, Brad! Okay how about a web-only area? That way, only Monks who are interested need visit/post/comment, etc.
There I've said it. Think about it. I'll be interested to read any feedback. Maybe this would make a good polling question: How many PM's are web developers and how many are using Perl for other tasks.
Update:
The minus-points I received for asking this question, notwithstanding, it was worth it to hear the other side to the question. It's actually reassuring to know that PM's are so open minded about answering my types of questions. Thanks all.
