It sound like you're creating a link to the file, not embedding it. If you move/delete the png, does the ppt file created on your desktop pc show the filename icon?
looking at the documentation for AddOLEObject, you might try setting link to false, or 0 or MSO_BOOLEAN_FALSE, or whatever it is that PPT expects false to be.In reply to Re: Win32::OLE - Insert Object in PowerPoint
