It would be real convenient if there were a small post link at the top of every major section, so I needn't scroll down to the post box. The link would send me to the bottom of the page without me using the page-down key or some key combo.

A nice location for the link would be to the right of the print and xml links. Another place you could have the links would be in the Sections nodelet, where you could place a little (post) link next to each appropriate section.
