I haven't looked through the whole program yet, but you appear to do this:

+, $mday, $hour, $min, $sec );

quite a bit. Use strftime() instead.

use POSIX qw(strftime);
my $ts = strftime("%Y%m%d %H:%M:%S", localtime);
