Creating the software and programs they use requires human judgement. And human judgement, feeble as it can be, is not going to be replaced any time soon.

For now, I agree with you. But I believe that in the future (and very possibly the very near future) this will no longer be a true statement.

Consider the workers in the automobile factories. How long ago was it that they felt that their skills at constructing cars could never be replaced by machines? And how many of those people have been replaced by now with robots?
