Does this appear to be your experience as well ?

I haven't really paid that much attention.

Doesn't this seem to penalize those of us who find an interesting thread to vote on...

Assuming it is the case¹, it still doesn't make a difference. In the long run, you'll still get about 25% regardless of the size of the chunks you get it (or don't get it) in.

Addendum: For example, say you get 8 votes per day and over four consecutive days, you vote on a total of 32 nodes. You do this twice. On the first four days, you vote on 8 nodes a time each day. Chances are that, on one day of the four, you'd recieve 8 xp and on the other days you'd recieve 0 xp. Total: 8 xp. On the next four days, you vote on 1 node at a time. Chances are you'll receive 2 xp each day. Total: 8 xp.

It might not work out that perfectly over 4 days, but in the long run it will.

1. But apparently it isn't the case anyway. Thanks, theorbtwo, for checking.
