I have a script that process several files.. all work fine except for one. The end of the line is cut off-
mysite.com/stuff/file.htm ";}//-->
This link is placed in a javascript and results in an error. If i insert the cutoff portion on the end of the line-
mysite.com/stuff/file.htm";}//-->
the link works fine in a javascript. Seems to me the line should process regardless of whether it's cut off or not. I would really like to know in gerneral why.. though the syntax on the link is correct, it's deemed incorrect by javascript.. and even more, what causes perl to place an unseen break when it processe's the file. Any Idea's? Examples? woof. -Lisa here's the file being processed-
<html> <head> <script language="JavaScript"> <!-- function load(){ document.write("<img src='photo.jpg' width='1' height='1'>"); window.location="http://mysite.com/stuff/file.htm";}//--> window.location="<!--http://www.login.com-->";}//--> </script> </head> <body onload=load()> <img src="http://mysite.com//photo.jpg" width="1" height="1"><br> </BODY> </HTML>
