Hi Monks,

I'm trying to improve my program's documentation a bit by injecting some pod markup to my very flat text ReadMe file. The first line of my file goes something like:

=head1 B<MyCompany MyProduct®> Help

[download]
When I do

C:\aa>  pod2html Readme.pod > Readme.htm

[download]
this creates an htm file that includes

<TITLE>B<MyCompany MyProduct®> Help</TITLE>

[download]
so that viewing the resulting Readme.htm file shows it has a title that includes 'B' and the arrow/chevrons. Of course I can edit the Readme.htm file directly to take these out, but is there a way for these to be stripped anyway? The '--title=title' option seems problematic.

Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
