Your attitude and behavior is inappropriate. gmpassos took the risk and challenge to create his CPAN XML::Smart module. He has received a very nice mention from IBM: http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/library/x-tiplang.html.

The first combustion engine was 7 feet tall. Now the engines are in model airplanes.

Every creator takes enormous risks. You behavior here is childish and smacks of jealously.
