I can say "missing the point". You are "missing the point". The point was TIMTOWDI vs one true way, not make as many comparisons between Perl and Kung Foo. I like the comparison between a cool martial art and the sedantry work I do, sure.

My original posting was based upon an interpretation of the sculpture the Vinegar Drinkers said to depict a Buddhist, Confuscionist and a Taoist.(From a Tao of Pooh by Benjamin Hoff). I have a really ropey Martial Arts book at home that linked Kung Fu to Confuscious instead of Tamo and the Shaolin, easily done since Confucious is known as Kung Fu Tzu. Confuscionism being a philosophy whereby structure and order are important and a focal point: Perl being somewhat less inhibiting.

(but ask me about the scar on my upper lip sometime). Okay what the hell does the scar on your upper lip have to do with anything other than feeding your ego?
