Despite my desire to respond to this, all I can say is that I am absolutely astonished to be the target of a flame. You posted a one-line meditation and monks, such as myself, chose to also "meditate" and respond.
Okay what the hell does the scar on your upper lip have to do with anything other than feeding your ego?
Please refrain from personal attacks. If you disagree with something, please say so, but personal attacks are not appropriate.
The point was TIMTOWDI vs one true way, not make as many comparisons between Perl and Kung Foo.
Others in this thread also chose to make those comparisons in this thread, yet you chose to attack me rather than others. While I will admit that this is dissapointing, I don't want an explanation. I'd rather not see more flames of this type here.

All I can say is, if I have offended you in some way, I can assure you that it was inadvertent and I offer my apologies. But please, if you can't say something nice... well, you know the rest. Incidentally, I couldn't be sure from the tone of your post, but I thought this may have stemmed from my "missing the point" comment. If so, I can assure you that it was directed at those kung-fu students who preach peace yet say their sifu is that baddest. It was NOT directed at you.

Cheers,
Ovid
