The YAPC::Australia camel has started moving!
It's early days yet but the wonderful
Melbourne.pm
have accepted the formidable challenge of organising the first
ever YAPC in Oceania, hopefully to be held in Melbourne in
late November or early December 2004.
A
very early version of the Web site
is up and running. It is far from finished and lots of changes are in
progress and it may be broken when you look. But, hey, I love the
camel logo! :-)
So if any Australian monks are listening, especially Melbournian
ones, I suggest you start by joining the un-archived
Melbourne.pm mailing list
to keep up to date with latest developments and think about
how you might be able to contribute.
I'm lurking on this list from Sydney, wondering how Sydney.pm
might be able to help.
