Hello All, I've loaded activestate perl on a Windows XP machine. I'm trying to install DBI. I found many references, including activestate documentation, that say it's as simple as launching ppm then entering "install DBI". But when I try this I get no response at all. No error message, no new prompt, just nothing. I also tried to do a "search *". To this I get a one line response of "Searching in Active Repositories" then nothing more. Any ideas? Any assistance greatly appreciated. Thanks! jdk
