This MSDN article describes how the IIS Metabase can be manipulated using various tools including Perl (albeit via an OLE interface). Have any Monks implemented any code to edit the IIS metabase? I couldn't find anything relavent on CPAN.

I am re-writing a web application installation that includes manual configuration of virtual directories that I would like to automate.
