I looked at my homenode pic and almost spit coffee on the screen LMAO (It was a head shot of an infant - I forget whose real homenode pic it was) :-) I don't agree with
demerphq and others that you should make sure it's April 1st localtime for users, because then you'd get some people experiencing the joke before others, talking about it, and ruining it for the others in later (earlier?) timezones. So pick a timezone, and let others be confused about the when and why. OTOH, I do agree with
tye that it's "annoying amateur day", but think it's no worse than other pseudo-holidays, and (possibly) even better in that it's at least (supposed to be) a day of amusement.
