Hello all...
I have to comment. I think this is a great site, I'm a newbie, refered from someone else to check this out... posted a question and it was answered quickly and thoroughly. Thanks to Monk "swiftone" for the help about hashes.
Upon reading through other questions/postings/etc., it seems that there are those who must make negative comments to those with less knowledge on the subject. I can see poking a little fun, but you've all been there before... learning. During my training, I was taught the basics of what to know. Now using... how do I know I'm using my 'basics' correctly? This forum gives people like me a way to interact with those more knowledgable in the Perl world and gives those with an advanced concept of understanding a place to share/show what they've acquired/developed. So, keep the quirky sarcastic jokes coming... Again thanks in advance for any more help that'll be given in the future.
...but to those that must give attitude; try to prove something here that in the social world they lack... or for any other reason of trying to build their own "programming esteem" by attempting to destroy others, please keep the negative comments to yourselves.
-just one guy's opinion- Zo.
