Interesting - if it wasn't for the inconvenient fact that it's not true (well, the Perl bit anyway - they're targeting Python :-)

Due to its size and architecture I think it's unlikely that you'll see Perl 5 on small devices like phones. Perl 6 via Parrot - much more feasable.
