Have you tried asking the site's webmaster? (Just kidding.)

The bit about "giving this error message and the time and date" make me think whatever it is is trying to log more information somewhere; have a poke round for error logs.

Perhaps there's some kind of warning trap triggered by one of your changes generating a warning where there was not one before?
