I'm curious to know what monks here think about using tables to position texts and other elements of a web page.
CSS purists frown on the use (or rather abuse) of tables to layout a table and advocate using css in their place.
While I appreciate its usefulness, I find working with css a pain the butt at times. I'm more productive with tables and in my design, I use a hybrid of tables and css.
What's your favourte practice and what are your thoughts?
