Lots of projects I do at work are very generic. They're not proprietary, don't give away company secrets etc. They just solve general problems that we happen to have, and I solve them in a way that is also general.

I know why many of these modules should be on CPAN.

I know... but what are the best arguments to convince my boss' boss? He is not very technical, but my boss is.
