When I try to install Tk off CPAN, I get the following different error.

make[2]: *** [../../blib/arch/auto/Tk/X/X.bundle] Error 1
make[1]: *** [subdirs] Error 2
make: *** [subdirs] Error 2
  /usr/bin/make  -- NOT OK
Running make test
  Can't test without successful make
Running make install
  make had returned bad status, install seems impossible
