I guess it was some time in 2002 ( or maybe not ) that I saw an announcement or article about a module for extracting strings from a script. While it is usable to localize messages, the description focused on things like externalizing SQL strings.

Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

Valerio gets the cigar! ... but I notice while a few people recognize the concept, no one has replied, "You HAVE to add this to your coding practice, it totally improves your life."
