Hi all. On windows for a while now I've built perl myself and built/installed modules as needed.. I often find/have trivial questions when I'm doing different things. The most wrestling question I have is where to take these questions to? If I want to relate/seek help with an experience I have perhaps building & installing a particular module - where might I take that question to? Or to discuss building/installing/distributing perl on windows? What settings others are using to build it, etc?
I'm a mailing list junkie. I've browsed the lists listed on perl.org, done some searches. My questions usually aren't anything stellar, so the porters list is out. My questions aren't related to the ActivePerl dist, thus I stay away from their lists. There's lists for windows admins, but I'm more curious about the admin of perl itself on windows than administrating of windows systems. I'd be up for starting a mailing list devoted to this niche, but I figured I'd ask here first knowing you all would set me straight if there's already good places for this. thanks!
