Both solution give wrong results. Suppose /tmp/foo/abc.pl and a symlink from /tmp/abc.pl -> /tmp/foo/abc.pl. Changing cwd to /tmp and call ./abc.pl. Maybe you wanted to emulate $FindBin::Bin, not $FindBin::RealBin?
