Make sure you have the Sybase enviroment variables set up correctly

Sybase Openclient 12.0x or higher:

  1. SYBASE=/opt/sybase
  2. SYBASE_OCS=OCS-12_5
  3. LD_LIBRARY_PATH=${SYBASE}/lib;${SYBASE}/${SYBASE_OCS}/lib;${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}

Sybase OpenClient 11.x or below:

  1. SYBASE=/opt/sybase
  2. LD_LIBRARY_PATH=${SYBASE}/lib;${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}
